1642 Golden Rum
Label design for an award-winning Rum
Label design

Label design concept
National Distillery wanted a minimal & elegant label design for their second award-winning Golden Rum. The name '1642' relates to the first sighting of New Zealand by Abel Tasman in 1642. The label, whilst minimal in execution, pays subtle homeage to the year, with a custom logomark reminescent of old-world typestyles and incasing the NDC logo in a compass motif, echoing the nautical navigation used to discover the new world.
